Attention, bridge fans all over the world, we are happy to announce our latest project tailored especially for bridge enthusiasts: BridgeHit.

BridgeHit is a bridge-playing web portal that creates a unique game experience, while giving you the opportunity to play for serious prize money. Melon, Inc. was commissioned to develop the technical part of the project, including the website, game logic, and flash interface.

To protect the players’ personal data and facilitate fair play, the players on each board are anonymously assigned by the system. The default playing system on BridgeHit is SAYC but users are given the opportunity to play 2/1, Precision, Blue Club, or ACOL. For those not familiar with the game rules, BridgeHit provides constant support to its users. During the first two rounds of bidding, the system explains the meanings of the bids to the players so that all participants can acquaint themselves with the rules of the game.

Thanks to the implementation of the latest technologies, the play is smooth, stable, and secure, allowing a pleasant playing experience even for slow Internet connections. BridgeHit is also very customizable. Players are able to modify the look of their table, from changing the size of the cards to selecting their preferred way of ending a game session. The “Hall of fame” is yet another interesting feature of BridgeHit. It gives users the option to praise and warn other players. All players are given a “fame” rating which is the difference between the praises and warnings they have received. And finally, thanks to the fact that the portal offers anonymous play, users are restricted from communicating with each other. This is meant to prevent player from manipulating the game so BridgeHit can afford granting a much higher prize pool, depending on the number of players.
